Warehouse Supervisor – Night Shift (Medley, FL)

Location: Medley, Florida 33178

Schedule: Sunday evening – Friday morning | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Compensation: ~$70,000 per year + Full Benefits

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all cargo receiving, handling, and warehouse operations at our Miami/Medley facility. This leader will guide a team of warehouse personnel, ensure safe and efficient movement of cargo, maintain operational accuracy, and support daily productivity goals.

This role is critical to maintaining smooth night operations, delivering exceptional service, and supporting our overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all cargo receiving, handling, loading, and warehouse operations during the night shift
Monitor daily workflow quality, productivity, and team performance
Compile operational data and prepare weekly productivity reports
Oversee warehouse utilization using forecasted workload and vessel schedules
Manage inventory of warehouse supplies and place orders as needed
Coordinate warehouse requests, splits, and resticker requirements
Ensure employees have proper tools, PPE, manuals, and training
Conduct initial and ongoing training for warehouse employees
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Draft and improve internal operating procedures to meet safety and service standards
Participate in interviews, performance reviews, hiring recommendations, and disciplinary actions
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience in cargo inspection, freight handling, and warehouse operations
Valid local Driver’s License and Passport
Ability to travel up to 10% (local and occasional overseas locations)
Ability to operate a forklift or hand truck

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, climbing, squatting
Push/pull 50–100 lbs and independently lift up to 80 lbs
Comfortable working in a non–climate-controlled warehouse environment

Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-motivating abilities
Excellent communication (oral, written, and radio)
Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and minimal supervision

Strong organizational and planning skills:
Knowledge of freight packaging, warehouse operations, and receiving/handling functions
Proficient with computers, handheld devices, and Windows software
High attention to detail and adaptability
