Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader who understands inventory control, shipping and receiving, team supervision, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement.
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team, improve operational efficiency, support cross-functional departments, and contribute to a well-organized, safety-focused warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance management, and daily team direction.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through stock monitoring, cycle counts, space optimization, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, safety regulations, company policies, and proper equipment usage.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve workflow.
- Collaborate with branch leadership, sales, purchasing, and other teams to coordinate product flow and resolve shipment or inventory issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $52.00 to $60.00 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory flow, and order fulfillment.
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop warehouse team members to meet operational goals.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Support safety compliance, equipment readiness, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, warehouse workflow, equipment utilization, and operational reporting.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other relevant warehouse and business software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines, warehouse safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to heat, cold, or other environmental conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience implementing warehouse process improvements, workflow optimization, or cost-saving initiatives.
- Experience generating and presenting warehouse performance, inventory, and shipment accuracy reports to management.
- Prior experience working closely with sales, purchasing, branch leadership, or cross-functional operations teams.
