Location: Hanford, CA
Reports To: Operations / Supply Chain Manager
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Position Summary

AppleOne is currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Purchasing Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse inventory activities and purchasing functions related to raw materials and packaging supplies. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking of finished goods and raw materials, maintains appropriate stock levels, and supports uninterrupted production and distribution operations. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished goods
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of all inventory using established systems and processes
• Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain proper storage conditions and inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO where applicable)
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Purchasing & Supply Management
• Order all packaging supplies and related materials to support production schedules
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to prevent production disruptions or excess stock
• Work closely with vendors to manage lead times, pricing, and delivery performance
• Monitor usage trends and forecast purchasing needs based on production and sales data
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying purchasing efficiencies and alternatives
Leadership & Cross Functional Coordination
• Supervise and support warehouse staff; provide training and performance feedback as needed
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Finance teams
• Assist with process improvements related to inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and purchasing controls

Qualifications
Required
• 3–5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, or purchasing (manufacturing or food industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations
• Experience ordering and managing packaging or raw material supplies
• Proficiency with inventory systems, ERP/MRP software, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing or refrigerated warehouse environments
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
