Job Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Ops Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Richmond, CA. The Warehouse Ops Supervisor will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, light manufacturing, facility upkeep, and safety compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring on-time shipments, supporting production and customer fulfillment, and driving continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inspection, picking, packing, inventory control, and material movement.
- Ensure accurate and timely ERP transactions in SAP Business One while maintaining strong inventory data integrity.
- Coordinate domestic and international freight activity to support customer delivery timelines and cost-effective logistics.
- Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy resolution, warehouse layout, and storage optimization.
- Supervise light assembly and manufacturing activities to ensure finished goods meet quality standards before shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility while supporting Cal/OSHA compliance, equipment upkeep, staff training, and safety programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Supervise warehouse operations, material flow, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities.
- Lead SAP Business One transaction accuracy, reporting, and warehouse data integrity.
- Manage staff schedules, training, coaching, performance expectations, and day-to-day operational execution.
- Support process improvements related to efficiency, safety, cost reduction, warehouse organization, and customer delivery performance.

- 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing operations, inventory control, or material handling experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory, team lead, or operations leadership experience.
- ERP system experience required, with SAP Business One strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, logistics coordination, warehouse management, and inventory control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and operational analysis.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards, Cal/OSHA requirements, and material handling equipment.
- Forklift experience preferred, with the ability to safely operate or oversee material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse and production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- SAP Business One experience strongly preferred.
- Forklift experience or forklift certification preferred.
- Experience supporting light manufacturing, assembly, quality checks, or production fulfillment.
- Experience managing domestic and international carrier relationships.
