A growing construction company in the Poway area is seeking a dependable Warehouse Operations Lead to support daily installation and service activity. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional who enjoys staying organized, coordinating materials, supporting field teams, and helping keep operations running smoothly.

The Warehouse Operations Lead plays a key role in preparing parts, doors, gates, and job materials so installers and technicians can complete work efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

- Pull, stage, and prepare parts and materials for installation projects.
- Load materials for installers and service technicians each morning to support timely job starts.
- Receive, unload, organize, and inventory incoming doors, parts, tools, and warehouse materials.
- Coordinate materials for custom steel and wood/steel projects while maintaining accuracy and readiness.
- Keep the warehouse, tool inventory, and workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Use company vehicles to pick up and deliver job materials, assist field teams when needed, and secure the warehouse at day end.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $24 to $28 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: San Diego, CA, Poway area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Relevant warehouse, inventory, or operations experience.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Must be comfortable driving a manual-transmission vehicle.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment supporting construction, installation, or field service operations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction materials, garage doors, gates, windows, fabrication, or field installation support.
- Prior warehouse lead, inventory coordination, or materials staging experience.
- Experience coordinating custom project materials for installation teams.
