Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the Kent, WA area. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys building strong teams, improving processes, and keeping daily distribution operations running efficiently.
The Warehouse Manager will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse staff, and safety standards in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods manufacturing and distribution environment. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall workflow.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel while promoting a positive and productive team culture.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support customer, production, and operational requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory controls, and proper warehouse procedures.
- Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with purchasing, customer service, and operations teams to support efficient warehouse execution.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while supporting accurate and timely order flow.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, controls, and warehouse management practices.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives.
- 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
- Experience using ERP systems or Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong inventory control and cycle count experience.
- Forklift certification or hands-on forklift experience preferred for warehouse operations oversight.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with purchasing, customer service, and operations.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to drive accountability in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process improvement experience.
- Experience in consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environments.
- Forklift certification.
- Background developing warehouse teams and improving operational performance metrics.
