Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Riverside, CA within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on, organized, and results-driven operations leader who enjoys building efficient warehouse processes, leading teams, improving inventory accuracy, and driving performance in a fast-paced production environment.
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, shipping, warehouse layout, safety compliance, quality standards, team supervision, and WMS utilization. This is a strong opportunity for a warehouse leader who values structure, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. The environment offers the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to operational success, and lead a warehouse team with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and material flow.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, stock rotation, documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support warehouse staff while promoting a positive, safety-focused team environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage space, picking, packing, and material handling workflows.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety procedures, quality standards, and proper warehouse documentation.
- Track KPIs, analyze operational trends, generate reports, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage all warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping, receiving, quality control, and warehouse organization.
- Lead warehouse staff, assign daily work, monitor performance, and support training and development.
- Use WMS and warehouse technology to track inventory, shipments, productivity, and operational data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on accuracy, efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
- 6 to 10 years of warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, or related operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory tracking, shipping documentation, and warehouse software.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret operational data, track KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and present recommendations to management.
- Clear communication skills with warehouse staff, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and warehouse compliance best practices.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with regular walking, desk-based computer work, occasional elevated noise levels, seasonal temperature changes, and light lifting up to 15 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage production, manufacturing, or regulated production environments.
- Experience improving warehouse layouts, inventory accuracy, picking workflows, and shipping performance.
- Background supporting continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse, logistics, or production operations.
