Location: Vernon, CA 90023
Position Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Anticipated Start Date: April 1, 2026 (or sooner)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead and build warehouse operations in a high-growth environment. This role goes beyond day-to-day management—you will help design the warehouse layout, create operational procedures, and establish inventory processes from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a startup-style environment, where they will shape the structure and scalability of the warehouse department.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
Design and manage warehouse processes including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Implement and maintain inventory flow and operational workflows.
Warehouse Setup & Layout
Oversee the physical build-out of the warehouse, including:
Racking procurement and installation
Workstations
Safety signage
Operational zones
Standard Operating Procedures
Develop and maintain detailed SOPs for all warehouse functions to ensure operational consistency and scalability.
Safety & Compliance
Create and lead a comprehensive warehouse safety program from day one.
Draft safety manuals and conduct OSHA-compliant training.
Ensure full regulatory and workplace safety compliance.
Systems & Technology
Lead WMS / ERP system implementation and integration.
Ensure accurate data tracking, inventory reporting, and operational analytics.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Manage procurement and daily safety inspections for equipment including:
Forklifts
Pallet jacks
Other warehouse handling equipment.
Qualifications:
5–10 years of warehouse management or lead experience
Experience in high-growth or startup environments
Hands-on experience building or restructuring warehouse operations
Strong knowledge of WMS or ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
Experience with system configuration or implementation
Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA compliance
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
