AppleOne has partnered with a company in Irvine needed a Warehouse Lead/Manager.
Position is open due to growth. This is a direct hire role. Medical/401K offered.
Must have industry experience: food, beverage, bakery, flavor, restaurant distribution
Hours may vary, as they open at 4:30 a.m.
Must be bilingual Spanish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Oversee production operations.
•Engage in production operations in the assigned sections, including packaging, machine operator, mixing, and cleaning equipment.
•Complete daily production plan set by the production schedule.
•Periodic product quality control.
•Report to Assistant Production Manager if all equipment, materials, and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production process by checking inventories.
•Report the quality of materials and supplies before they are used to Assistant Production Manager.
•Monitor employees’ meal and rest breaks.
•Ensure all production employees are assigned to their tasks on time/ as scheduled.
•Review or/and fill in the production documents and logs.
•Ensure safety measures are in place.
•Maintain safe and clean work environment.
•Actively participated in safety policies, activities, and implementations.
•Help Assistant Production Manager by assigning responsibilities to employees based on the production schedule.
•Identify and report operational, product quality, and maintenance problems to prevent production delays to Assistant Production Manager.
•Troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
•Provide training, including machine operation and maintenance, to Production Foremen and employees.
•Provide training to employee as necessary per production management rules and policies including corrective actions for injuries/illnesses, food safety deviations retraining, etc.
•Respond to grievances and complaints from subordinates (Production Foremen and production workers) and work with Production Manager/ Assistant Production Manager to discuss and solve problems.
•Take disciplinary actions against employees along with Production Manager, Assistant Managers, and HR Department.
•Cover other production related tasks during their vacations.
•Performs other similar or related duties as requested and assigned.
