We are seeking a Warehouse Lead - Kent for a direct hire opportunity in a busy distribution and warehouse operations environment. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who is ready to move beyond a traditional warehouse position and take on more responsibility leading daily floor activity.
The Warehouse Lead will help keep shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, staging, inventory, and outbound workflow moving efficiently while working hands-on with the team. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse floor activity, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, loading, staging, and inventory movement.
- Help direct warehouse team members to ensure priorities are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems to support daily distribution operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation, order records, and warehouse transaction details.
- Support outbound order staging and loading while ensuring products are handled properly and efficiently.
- Work hands-on with the team to resolve workflow issues, maintain productivity, and promote a safe, organized warehouse environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- $52,000 to $58,000 per year.

- Support inventory accuracy, warehouse documentation, and efficient order movement.
- Operate warehouse equipment and systems to keep workflow moving safely and accurately.
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
- Lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, production, or operations environment.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, loading, and outbound staging.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Strong inventory accuracy, documentation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate priorities, communicate clearly, and support a productive warehouse team.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to jump in alongside the team when needed.
- Reliable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with building materials, flooring, wholesale distribution, construction supplies, or similar products.
- Previous experience in a lead warehouse, shift lead, distribution lead, or warehouse supervisor role.
- Familiarity with high-volume outbound order staging, loading, and inventory control processes.
