SUMMARY
Pulls, stores and distributes material and products by performing the following duties.
*** Graveyard Shift - 12:00AM - 8:30AM ***** Mon - Fri
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Operates powered industrial trucks by moving levers and pressing pedals to drive and control movement of truck.
• Directs the positioning of and positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, and products and transports load to designated area.
• Uses bar code scanning equipment to track inventory on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, equipment or other designated areas by hand or powered industrial truck.
• Recharges batteries, adds water to batteries or replaces liquefied gas tank for Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Moves, stacks or un-stacks material and items from storage or production areas to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or on saw horses according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges stock in specified sequence for packaging by other workers.
• Enters Data into computer program and prints shipping labels
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Cleans work area, machines and equipment.
• Follows safety procedures, uses equipment and materials properly and encourages team members to use safe behaviors
• Reports unsafe actions and conditions and maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals.
