We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Helper for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Barbara, CA. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, or general labor experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced operations environment.
The Warehouse Helper will support daily warehouse activities, assist with material handling, maintain an organized work area, and help keep production and operations moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, organizing, moving, and staging materials, products, and supplies.
- Support shipping, packing, labeling, and order preparation activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production support area.
- Load, unload, lift, and move items according to safety procedures and operational needs.
- Help track inventory, report discrepancies, and communicate material needs to the appropriate team members.
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and supervisor instructions to support efficient daily operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $23 to $25 per year.
- Assist with warehouse material handling, staging, and organization.
- Support shipping, receiving, packing, and order preparation tasks.
- Maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse and production support areas.
- Help ensure materials are available and properly handled for daily operations.
- 1-2 years of warehouse, production, operations, general labor, or related hands-on experience.
- Ability to lift, move, carry, and stage materials safely throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety, organization, and inventory handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or warehouse environment.
- Experience with packing, labeling, shipping, receiving, or inventory support.
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, or basic warehouse equipment.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus, if applicable to the work environment.
