AppleOne has partnered with a company in Lake Forest needing a dependable Warehouse Clerk. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with forklift experience who enjoys staying active, supporting daily operations, and helping materials move safely, accurately, and efficiently through a busy warehouse environment.
This Warehouse Clerk position offers consistent Monday through Friday hours, supportive warehouse leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to a team-oriented operation. Qualified candidates with prior forklift driving experience who are not currently certified may receive forklift certification support. This is a strong opportunity for someone seeking stability, practical warehouse experience, and potential long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise using a forklift and move products to designated storage, staging, or shipment areas.
- Locate, stage, and move inventory to pallets, crates, or warehouse locations based on daily operational needs.
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for visible damage and communicate issues to warehouse leadership.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, activity logs, and warehouse documentation.
- Support the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse tasks as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary, temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Work arrangement: Onsite in Lake Forest, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate a forklift to unload, move, stage, and organize warehouse materials.
- Support accurate inventory movement, order verification, and warehouse documentation.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and visible damage.
- Assist warehouse leadership with daily production, operations, and material handling needs.
- 3 to 5 years of warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or related operations experience preferred.
- Prior forklift driving experience required.
- Ability to follow warehouse safety procedures and handle materials accurately.
- Strong attention to detail when verifying packing slips, inventory records, and shipment information.
- Ability to lift, move, stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift as required in a warehouse environment.
- Dependable attendance, strong communication skills, and a team-focused work style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current forklift certification preferred, although certification support may be provided for qualified candidates with prior forklift driving experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or operations warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with inventory logs, warehouse documentation, shipping paperwork, and basic order accuracy processes.
