AppleOne has partnered with a company in Lake Forest needing a dependable Warehouse Clerk.
This onsite role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with forklift experience who enjoys staying active, supporting daily operations, and helping materials move accurately and safely through the warehouse.
This is a great opportunity to join a team-oriented environment with supportive warehouse leadership, consistent Monday through Friday hours, and the potential to grow into a long-term position. The company will provide forklift certification for qualified candidates who have prior forklift driving experience but are not currently certified.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise using a forklift and move products to designated storage or shipment areas.
- Locate, stage, and move stock to pallets, crates, or warehouse locations based on operational needs.
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips and report discrepancies promptly.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for visible damage and communicate any issues.
- Maintain updated inventory records, activity logs, and warehouse documentation.
- Support the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse duties as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Work arrangement: Onsite in Lake Forest, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate a forklift to unload, move, and stage warehouse materials safely.
- Verify packing slips, check order accuracy, and identify shipment discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory records and activity logs.
- Assist warehouse leadership with general warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production support duties.
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse, production, operations, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift driving experience is required.
- Current forklift certification is not required, certification will be provided.
- Ability to read packing slips, follow warehouse procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged products or shipment issues.
- Dependable, safety-focused, organized, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to follow company policies and help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse clerk, warehouse associate, forklift operator, shipping and receiving, or inventory support role.
- Experience using inventory logs, warehouse documentation, scanners, or basic warehouse tracking systems.
- Prior forklift certification or recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
