Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role supports order processing, inventory control, shipping, receiving, assembly, and sales operations for a company that supplies mechanical hardware to research institutions and equipment manufacturers.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, motivated warehouse professional who enjoys variety, accuracy, and taking ownership of daily responsibilities. The work environment is friendly, team-focused, and supportive, with training provided and opportunities to learn different parts of the operation. The ideal Warehouse Clerk is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating with sales, logistics, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Process customer orders, create sales orders, pull products, and coordinate shipping arrangements.
- Support inventory control activities including receiving, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and warehouse organization.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks using common parcel and freight carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments.
- Perform basic assembly work to support customer orders and sales requirements.
- Confirm delivery details with customers and assist with order follow-up as needed.
- Support other warehouse, logistics, and operational functions when business needs require.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Fremont, CA.
