Position Overview:
The position is accountable for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the plant and warehouse. Key emphasis will be placed on managing the overall process at the plant level from seed treatment to packaging by seed count. In addition, emphasis will be placed on operating both manual and automated seed count and bagging equipment and tracking and maintaining accuracy of seed/lbs, bag weights, bag inventory, bag appearance and treater accuracy.

Location: Lubbock, TX
Assignment: Temporary (4 - 6 months)
Schedule and Pay:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM ($19/hr)
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM ($20/hr (+$1.00 shift differential)
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM ($20.50/hr (+$1.50 shift differential)

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, seed production, ginning, seed conditioning, or relevant farm/mechanical work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards (LOTO, CSE)
• Additional medical clearances required (besides drug screening)
• Must be flexible to stay past shift if work is not completed

What you'll do:
Assist in day-to-day plant and warehouse operations, including:
• Operating manual and automated seed count and bagging equipment
• Monitoring seed treatment and packaging accuracy
• Performing general equipment repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards
