We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Wyandotte, MI. This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, production, assembly, or material handling experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced facility.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily production needs by moving materials, operating basic warehouse equipment, assisting with equipment operation, and helping maintain a safe and organized work area. This opportunity offers a structured schedule, steady hours, and the potential to grow into a long-term role with a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility to support production needs.
- Operate carts, pallet jacks, scan guns, and related warehouse equipment safely and accurately.
- Assist with production processes, assembly support, and basic equipment operation.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace guidelines.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment or material issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.50 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Workweek: 3 to 4 days per week, including every other weekend.
- Worksite: 100% onsite in Wyandotte, MI.
- Move and stage materials to support production and warehouse operations.
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, scan guns, and basic material handling equipment.
- Assist with production, equipment operation, and general warehouse tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate, detail-focused work.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, production, or assembly experience required.
- Basic math and English skills required.
- Experience using rulers, gauges, measuring tools, or similar equipment required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Strong attendance, reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety required.
- Must pass the Production with Mechanical Aptitude assessment.
- Must complete a medical exam and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly line, production, or material handling environment.
- Experience using warehouse scanning systems or scan guns.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production equipment.
