We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity in Taunton, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work, accurate order fulfillment, and supporting efficient production and shipping operations.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will help package, label, inspect, palletize, and prepare finished products for shipment while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a team-oriented warehouse environment, and the opportunity to build skills in forklift operations, QAD transactions, cycle counting, and shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Package, label, pack, palletize, shrink-wrap, and steel strap finished products according to work orders or sales orders.
- Inspect materials for correct part numbers, quantities, accuracy, and completeness before shipment.
- Maintain records, batch and lot traceability, production time documentation, and required shipping documentation.
- Distribute received materials to proper areas and maintain packaging supplies at workstations.
- Perform cycle counts, support inventory accuracy, and complete QAD transactions using a computer.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all departmental procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $21 per hour.
- Job type: 3-month contract with possible extension or hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Overtime is required when necessary.
- Location: Taunton, MA.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy, part numbers, quantities, and shipment completeness.
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, material distribution, and documentation.
- Use warehouse systems, including QAD transactions, to maintain accurate production and shipping records.
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification within 60 days.
- Ability to use shipping tools and equipment, including a UPS scale.
- Basic computer skills required for warehouse transactions and recordkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain batch and lot traceability.
- Ability to follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Strong teamwork, organization, and housekeeping habits in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with forklift operation or current forklift certification.
- Experience using QAD or similar warehouse, inventory, or ERP systems.
- Prior experience in production, shipping, receiving, packaging, or order fulfillment environments.
