Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sulphur, LA. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with recent warehouse experience, sit-down forklift skills, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations including order picking, material put-away, receiving, stocking, inventory movement, forklift operation, and general housekeeping. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, verify, stage, stock, and put away incoming materials.
- Operate a sit-down forklift and train on order picker or cherry picker equipment up to 20 feet.
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, inventory movement, and general warehouse support as needed.
- Lift, move, bend, twist, pull, and stand throughout the full shift while following safety procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch.
- Location: Sulphur, LA 70665.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pull and prepare warehouse orders for shipment.
- Receive, stage, stock, and put away incoming materials.
- Operate sit-down forklift equipment safely.
- Support warehouse organization, housekeeping, and safety standards.
- 3 to 6 months of recent warehouse experience required.
- Minimum 6 months of sit-down forklift experience required.
- Willingness to train on order picker or cherry picker equipment.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with team lifts for heavier or awkward materials.
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stand for the full shift.
- Background in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory preferred.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, returns, or pipe yard warehouse operations.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse product lines and material handling procedures.
- Prior experience in light industrial, construction supply, industrial facilities, or infrastructure-related warehouse environments.
