Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a direct hire opportunity in Kent, WA. This role supports the daily material-handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory needs of an established industrial manufacturing and engineering environment.

The Warehouse Associate will work closely with purchasing, production, engineering, and operations teams in a safety-focused setting where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and components while verifying shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
- Inspect deliveries for visible damage, shortages, discrepancies, or missing items, and communicate issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Label, organize, store, pick, package, and prepare materials for internal projects and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counts, and support inventory reconciliation activities.
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, engineering, and other departments to support efficient material flow and project readiness.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support receiving, inventory organization, material movement, shipping, and order preparation.
- Verify shipments, inspect materials, maintain documentation, and update inventory records accurately.
- Pick, package, label, store, load, unload, and move materials safely within an industrial facility.
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read part numbers, labels, packing slips, purchase orders, and inventory documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees across multiple departments.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial-shop activities.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely and wear required personal protective equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift or pallet-jack experience.
- Experience handling industrial, mechanical, or electrical components.
- Experience using inventory systems or ERP software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, chemical, petro-chemical, or industrial warehouse environment.
