Job Summary

Warehouse Associate opportunities are available in Fort Lauderdale, FL for temporary Warehouse Support Workers supporting critical election logistics operations. This role is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented candidates with warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience.

In this mission-focused public sector environment, Warehouse Associates help ensure voting equipment, precinct supplies, and official election materials are received, organized, assembled, staged, tracked, and securely stored. Candidates can expect a structured team setting, supportive leadership, required training, and the opportunity to contribute to important community operations.

This is a hands-on warehouse position that requires physical stamina, accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, organize, and store voting equipment, election supplies, and official materials.
- Assemble, prepare, and stage precinct supply kits and voting equipment for distribution.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout warehouse facilities.
- Support inventory counts, equipment tracking, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas.
- Report damaged equipment, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment Start Date: As soon as cleared.
- Expected End Date: August 25, 2026.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
- Additional evening, weekend, and overtime hours may be required based on election operational needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support warehouse logistics for election operations, including receiving, staging, distribution, recovery, and storage.
- Prepare and organize election equipment and supply kits for timely and accurate deployment.
- Assist with inventory tracking, reconciliation, material movement, and warehouse organization.
- Follow warehouse, safety, and election-related procedures to help maintain secure and accurate operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of warehouse, logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to successfully complete required election, warehouse, and safety training.
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug screening before beginning the assignment.
- Candidates are not authorized to begin work until all required screening results have been received, reviewed, and cleared.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting public sector, government, election, logistics, or large-scale distribution operations.
- Experience using inventory processes, equipment tracking procedures, or warehouse documentation.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak operational periods.
