Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a temporary contract opportunity in Omaha, NE. This role supports daily warehouse operations in a climate-controlled environment, including picking, packing, receiving, storing, loading, and shipping materials.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, forklift, and order fulfillment experience who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and a structured production or operations setting. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a performance and retention-based bonus opportunity. You will be part of a safety-focused environment where reliability, accuracy, and collaboration are valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for accurate and timely shipment.
- Receive, store, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
- Inspect materials for quality, accuracy, labeling, and documentation requirements.
- Handle and document hazardous materials or waste in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable government regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $20 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Assignment type: Temporary contract.
- Bonus opportunity: $500 after 2 weeks of employment.
- Bonus opportunity: $500 after 90 days of continuous employment.
- Total potential bonus: Up to $1,000 in addition to hourly pay, based on performance and retention milestones.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Pick, pack, receive, store, load, and ship warehouse materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and related warehouse equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.
- Follow safety procedures for regulated materials and warehouse operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 to 4 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience with order picking and packing.
- Forklift experience and ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow procedures in a safety-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Experience handling hazardous materials or regulated warehouse documentation is a plus.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or distribution environment is helpful.
