Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Bethlehem, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with forklift experience who enjoys staying active, working with a supportive team, and contributing to accurate, safe, and efficient warehouse operations.
The Warehouse Associate will support shipping, receiving, order pulling, stocking, loading, and unloading in a fast-paced manufacturing and operations environment. This position offers steady weekday hours, training from an experienced team lead, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term role with a team-focused operation that values safety, reliability, and quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Load out-of-box equipment into 48-foot and 53-foot trailers using truck pads, truck straps, load bars, and proper loading procedures.
- Unbox equipment, remove packing materials, secure lock down brackets, verify order accuracy, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform receiving, stocking, order pulling, shipping, loading, and unloading duties while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
- Operate powered and non-powered material handling and dock equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet handling equipment.
- Use scanners, warehouse systems, shipping controls, and loading software to track inventory movement and shipped orders.
- Follow OSHA standards, safety procedures, and warehouse processes while communicating discrepancies to the team lead or supervisor.
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Overtime or work outside normal hours may be required based on business needs.
- Training will be provided by the team lead.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Load and secure equipment in trailers using proper dock and shipping procedures.
- Process warehouse orders by unboxing, checking accuracy, preparing shipments, and moving orders forward.
- Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, loading, and unloading tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment and support accurate warehouse documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required.
- Forklift certification required.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate powered and non-powered material handling and dock equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with physical capability to handle heavier warehouse tasks up to 75 to 100 pounds as required.
- Ability to move wheeled equipment or objects that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
- Experience with warehouse paperwork, scanners, desktop PC data entry, or warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail for checking product descriptions, quantities, paperwork, and shipment accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety, OSHA standards, teamwork, and reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, shipping manifest systems, or loading software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or equipment operations environment.
- Experience palletizing, packing, securing freight, and loading carrier trucks or freight company trailers.
