Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Loader to support warehouse operations for Ricoh USA. This role involves loading equipment into 48-ft and 53-ft trailers, preparing shipments, and assisting with general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment. Training will be provided by the team lead. This position offers potential for permanent employment based on performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Load out-of-box equipment into 48-ft and 53-ft trailers using truck pads, straps, and load bars
Unbox equipment and remove packing materials
Secure lock-down brackets on equipment
Verify order accuracy before shipments are processed
Use loading software to track shipped orders
Load and unload trucks and assist with freight handling
Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, and order picking duties
Palletize and prepare shipments for carriers
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
Maintain accurate documentation using scanners and warehouse systems
Report discrepancies in shipments or inventory to supervisors
Follow all OSHA safety standards and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience (or 1 year company experience)
Forklift certification required
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable transportation required (no nearby public transportation)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to move equipment on wheels up to 700 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with normal temperature and noise levels
Exposure to packing materials, solvents, and cleaning agents
Work may involve overtime or extended hours when needed
