AppleOne has partnered with a company in San Clemente needing Warehouse Assistant. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a higher-level warehouse role that blends hands-on shipping, receiving, picking, packing, quality control, and inspection work with clerical responsibilities, Excel spreadsheets, and import/export documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inspections, and quality control.
- Assist with import/export processes, overseas container coordination, customs paperwork, and compliance-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, update Excel spreadsheets, and process detailed paperwork in a highly regulated environment.
- Prioritize changing warehouse and administrative tasks in a fast-paced, growing operation.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, quality, and documentation completeness.
- Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as part of regular warehouse duties.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $26.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Support shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inspections, and quality control activities.
- Prepare and review import/export paperwork, customs documentation, and compliance records.
- Update Excel spreadsheets and maintain accurate warehouse and clerical documentation.
- Coordinate details related to containers, overseas shipments, and regulated paperwork.
- 3-5 years of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, shipping, receiving, or operations experience.
- Experience with import/export, customs paperwork, overseas containers, and compliance documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to handle detailed paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and consistently.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help where needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or distribution background.
- Experience working in a regulated warehouse, production, or operations environment.
- Prior experience supporting international shipping, receiving, or logistics documentation.
