Job Title: Warehouse Assembly Technician (Plumbing supplies)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Location: Fort Myers, FL 33905
Job Summary
The Warehouse Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling plumbing kits, supporting inventory operations, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow structured instructions, and comfort working in a physically active warehouse environment. Experience with plumbing materials or similar products is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble kits according to detailed work orders and specifications
• Locate and pull materials needed for kit production
• Prepare and stage completed kits for shipment
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with general warehouse functions including shipping and receiving
Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months of recent warehouse experience required
• Ability to read and interpret work orders accurately
• Stable work history (no gaps exceeding 3 months)
• Experience in inventory, shipping, or receiving preferred
• Plumbing or related product knowledge is a plus
Skills & Attributes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with hands efficiently
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to workflow demands
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Fast-paced warehouse environment
