Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA within the aerospace and defense industry. This management-level role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader who can oversee daily operations, strengthen inventory accuracy, support production goals, and lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and material movement.
- Supervise 5 to 7 warehouse leads and up to 5 temporary employees, providing coaching, training, direction, and performance support.
- Oversee inventory tracking processes to ensure accurate material counts, finished goods records, and minimized discrepancies.
- Coordinate timely and accurate shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and dispatch of goods.
- Enforce warehouse safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and support compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Partner with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with production schedules and company goals.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Occasional weekends may be required as needed.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage warehouse operations supporting manufacturing, production, and logistics needs.
- Lead warehouse teams, including leads and temporary staff.
- Oversee inventory control, shipping, receiving, safety compliance, and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.

- Previous warehouse management or warehouse leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or related environment.
- Prior experience working with an ERP system is required.
- Strong inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse documentation skills.
- Ability to lead, train, motivate, and hold teams accountable for performance and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Ability to prepare and present reports related to inventory levels, shipping schedules, and team performance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing environments.
- Background supporting production schedules, material flow, and quality-driven warehouse processes.
- Experience improving warehouse procedures, inventory accuracy, safety practices, or team productivity.
