We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual executive leader to oversee and scale West Coast operations within a high-growth, discrete manufacturing environment focused on modular building products. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, scaling production, and building a high-performing team in a fast-paced, evolving, and innovation-driven manufacturing setting.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading discrete manufacturing operations, with a proven ability to implement strategic initiatives, drive measurable cost savings, and deliver results in both established and startup-style environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of factory operations with a strong presence on the manufacturing floor
Own full plant P&L and drive performance across production, scheduling, procurement, logistics, and engineering
Lead and optimize operations within a discrete manufacturing environment, improving efficiency across labor, materials, and automation
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement strategies with measurable results
Scale plant operations, including production ramp-up, workforce growth, and future second-shift expansion
Build, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing leadership team in a people-centric environment
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and pride in output
Partner cross-functionally to align operations with business goals and growth strategy
Qualifications:
15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including direct responsibility over a discrete manufacturing site
10+ years in executive or plant/site leadership roles
Proven success driving operational improvements and cost savings with measurable impact
Experience scaling manufacturing operations and ramping production
Background in high-volume, automated environments
Experience in modular, panelized, or building products preferred
Bilingual Spanish required or strongly preferred
Knowledge of California HSE regulations preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Strong leadership presence, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Operations Environment:
Hands-on, on-site leadership role
Early start schedule (approx. 6:00–6:30 AM; daily 7:00 AM operations meeting)
Facility operates 6 days/week with rotating leadership coverage
Oversight of ~150+ employees with anticipated growth and future second shift
Compensation & Benefits:
$226,000 – $270,000 base salary
