Job Summary

A high-growth medical device and dental technology organization is seeking a Vice President of Global Operations to lead end-to-end global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, logistics, repair operations, and operational excellence. This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on operations leader who can build scalable systems, develop high-performing teams, and drive measurable performance across a global organization.

The Vice President of Global Operations will play a critical role in supporting rapid growth, improving customer delivery performance, strengthening supplier networks, and advancing manufacturing and operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the global operations strategy aligned with growth, profitability, quality, customer experience, and long-term business objectives.
- Lead manufacturing operations, resin production, global supply chain, procurement, S&OP, demand planning, inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, fulfillment, repair operations, and operational excellence.
- Build scalable global processes, leadership teams, KPIs, operating plans, capacity strategies, budgets, and long-range operational roadmaps.
- Improve OEE, throughput, yield, labor productivity, inventory turns, supplier performance, OTIF, forecast accuracy, fill rate, repair turnaround time, and customer service levels.
- Drive Lean operations, automation, ERP optimization, digital transformation, AI-enabled planning initiatives, waste reduction, and continuous improvement across all operational functions.
- Partner with Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership to support profitability, compliance, audit readiness, new product introductions, and operational risk mitigation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.
- Target salary range: $175,000 to $225,000 per year.
- Target bonus range: 20 percent to 30 percent.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead global manufacturing, production, resin manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, planning, warehouse, fulfillment, and repair operations.
- Own and improve company-wide operational performance metrics, including OTIF, OEE, throughput, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, supplier on-time delivery, gross margin, working capital, warranty costs, and repair turnaround time.
- Build scalable operational systems, processes, teams, and leadership structures to support significant revenue growth.
- Lead S&OP, capacity planning, operational transformation, ERP optimization, Lean initiatives, and cross-functional new product commercialization support.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- 18 or more years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- 10 or more years leading large, multi-functional organizations.
- Executive leadership experience across both manufacturing and supply chain.
- Experience leading global operations in medical device, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, dental technology, high-tech hardware, or a similar environment.
- Proven success building scalable organizations in high-growth or rapidly evolving business environments.
- Strong experience leading S&OP, demand planning, capacity planning, procurement, inventory management, and global supplier management.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including gross margin improvement, cost reduction, working capital, inventory turns, operating expenses, capital planning, and labor planning.
- Experience leading ERP implementations, digital transformation, or large-scale operational improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional executive communication, leadership, team development, coaching, succession planning, and cross-functional influence skills.
- Data-driven decision-making style with the ability to balance speed, quality, customer experience, compliance, and financial performance.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA preferred.
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience.
- ISO 13485 and FDA manufacturing experience.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with AI-driven planning tools or advanced operational planning technologies.
- Experience managing China-based manufacturing and global supplier networks.
- Experience supporting international logistics, distribution, and global customer fulfillment.
