Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional construction operations with full accountability for revenue, profitability, safety, quality, client satisfaction, and overall business performance.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, staffing strategies, revenue targets, profit objectives, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Drive business development efforts by building and maintaining relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, trade partners, and key market stakeholders.
- Oversee project performance across the region, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, risk controls, and client expectations are consistently met.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team while developing succession plans and supporting employee engagement.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning, market positioning, regional growth initiatives, and operational best practices across the organization.

- Estimated salary range: $195,000 to $304,000 annually.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead regional construction operations across Austin, San Antonio, and the broader Central Texas market.
- Manage financial performance, annual budgets, revenue targets, forecasting, profitability, and project margin expectations.
- Drive strategic business development, client relationship management, backlog growth, and market expansion.
- Oversee project execution, operational consistency, quality standards, risk management, and leadership team performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale construction operations and delivering strong financial results.
- Strong knowledge of construction financing, project profitability, value engineering, life-cycle costing, and modern construction technologies.
- Proven ability to maintain high-quality construction standards and drive operational excellence.
- Established business development experience and strong relationships within the construction, development, design, and owner communities.
- Strong financial acumen with accountability for revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance.
- Experience developing talent, building high-performing teams, and supporting leadership succession.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead growth initiatives, improve processes, and manage organizational change.
- Ability to balance long-term planning with effective day-to-day execution.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and executive relationship management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

- Executive leadership experience overseeing multi-office or regional construction operations.
- Established relationships within the Austin, San Antonio, and Central Texas commercial construction markets.
- Experience serving as executive sponsor for key clients, complex projects, or high-profile pursuits.
- Background collaborating with preconstruction, estimating, finance, and operations teams on strategic growth initiatives.
- Proven success improving backlog, win rates, client retention, project margins, and regional market reputation.
