Vice President of Finance – Manufacturing Industry (Confidential Search) We are conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Finance to join a mid-sized manufacturing organization (~60 employees). This is a highly hands-on executive role within a lean finance team where the VP will be expected to both lead strategically and actively support day-to-day accounting operations when needed. This is a working leadership position in a company that values operational involvement, accountability, and strong financial discipline. The organization has a small finance team (approximately 3 people total), so flexibility and a willingness to step into tactical responsibilities—including payroll and core accounting tasks during coverage situations—is essential. Key Focus Areas Full ownership of finance and accounting operations, including financial reporting and compliance Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls Responsibility for A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger functions Development and execution of financial strategy aligned with business growth Risk management, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance Cash flow oversight, banking relationships, and capital planning Support for business decisions including expansion, capital projects, and strategic initiatives Hands-on leadership of a small accounting team (Accounting Manager + Accounting Clerk) Ideal Candidate Profile Prior experience as a Vice President of Finance or equivalent executive-level role (required) Strong background in manufacturing accounting (10+ years required) Experience working in mid-sized manufacturing environments ($25M–$100M range preferred) Comfortable in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment Demonstrated stability in prior roles (no frequent job changes) Strong leadership experience with small, agile teams Exposure to international operations is a plus Experience in ISO-9001 or similarly controlled manufacturing environments preferred

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required MBA or CPA preferred Strong ERP and financial systems experience Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
