VP Banking Opportunity
Compensation: $95,000 – $135,000 base salary, plus incentive eligibility and full benefits
(Compensation commensurate with experience)

AppleOne is partnering with a mission driven business group to recruit their new Vice President Banking and Business Services. This confidential opportunity is with a highly respected bank known for combining financial strength, community impact, and environmental responsibility.
This role is ideal for a senior level treasury management and commercial banking professional who wants to lead meaningful client relationships while helping transform the future of banking.
Position Summary
The VP is responsible for developing and expanding commercial, small business, nonprofit, and mission aligned deposit and treasury management relationships. This role focuses on business development, consultative treasury solutions, relationship management, and client service excellence.
The selected candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborate closely with internal banking teams, and represent the organization’s values within the community.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
• Develop new commercial, nonprofit, and small business deposit and treasury management relationships
• Expand and deepen existing client relationships through consultative banking solutions
• Identify opportunities for cross selling additional banking products and services
• Monitor market trends to ensure competitive products and pricing

Client Relationship Management
• Serve as primary relationship manager for treasury focused clients
• Conduct annual treasury management reviews and on site client visits
• Develop customized sales proposals including pricing, cost/benefit analysis, and service comparisons
• Ensure clients understand and maximize the value of treasury management services

Sales Strategy & Collaboration
• Partner with commercial lenders, branch managers, and internal teams on joint sales calls
• Collaborate with leadership to execute local and regional sales strategies
• Track all sales activity, pipelines, and client interactions in CRM systems

Client Service Excellence
• Lead with a client first service mindset
• Resolve complex or escalated service issues
• Analyze service metrics and recommend process improvements
• Train and mentor bankers and staff on treasury management products and best practices

Leadership & Community Engagement
• Participate in treasury product innovation and strategic planning
• Mentor banking officers on deposit and cash management solutions
• Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community functions
• Act as a visible ambassador of the bank’s mission and values

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of applicable banking experience
• Extensive experience in treasury management, deposit products, and cash management
• Commercial banking experience required; lending knowledge a plus
