AppleOne is seeking a talented Trusts & Estates Paralegal for a respected boutique law firm with decades of excellence in estate planning, trusts, probate, and tax law. This mainly on-site role offers work-from-home flexibility when needed.

Responsibilities:

- Handle full estate/trust administration: planning through distribution, accountings, asset valuation, and reconciliations.
- Prepare/file estate, inheritance, gift, and fiduciary tax returns using ProSeries or similar.
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and beneficiary documents.
- Support probate: petitions, inventories, court filings, deeds; coordinate with courts, beneficiaries, banks, appraisers.
- Conduct legal/financial research, prepare correspondence, transfers, and tax calculations.
- Maintain records, track deadlines, ensure regulatory compliance.


Qualifications:

- 7–10 years in trusts/estates, focusing on administration, probate, tax prep (preferred)
- Accounting background with tax preparation or estate administration experience strongly considered.
- Paralegal certificate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required).
- Proficiency in estate/tax software: ProSeries, FAS/FATE, NumberCruncher, TValue, Tax Interest, THS (or comparable).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organization, detail orientation, independent deadline management.
- Superior written/verbal communication for clients and courts.
