This role focuses on Medicaid planning, estate administration, and trusts, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with crisis Medicaid planning, including preparation of Medicaid applications and recertification applications.
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide timely updates.
Obtain and organize financial records for Medicaid lookback periods; prepare detailed Medicaid accountings.
Provide assistance with liquidating accounts in connection with Medicaid planning.
Support attorneys throughout the estate administration process by:
Drafting and filing court documents
Managing estate administration cases from initiation to resolution
Conducting tax-related analysis
Drafting estate planning documents (experience preferred)

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paralegal in Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, or Medicaid planning.
Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client care.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
