Trust Coordinator – Accounting Department

Pay: $18–$20/hr (Entry-Level AP/AR)
Up to $22–$25/hr with Trust Accounting Experience

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow your career in accounting? A company located in the Cypress Creek area of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Trust Coordinator to join their accounting team. This role is perfect for someone with entry-level AP/AR experience or a candidate with trust accounting knowledge looking to step into a stable, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy of invoices and supporting documentation
Maintain detailed accounting records, journals, and ledgers
Record incoming trust and escrow deposits (checks, wires, ACH)
Review, approve, and print trust and escrow checks
Process outgoing trust and escrow wires through online banking platforms
Reconcile daily bank account transactions to ensure accurate financial records
Communicate with internal staff and external contacts, including banking representatives
Compile and prepare financial data and reports for management
Reconcile records and recommend solutions for any discrepancies
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Assist with audit preparation and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Entry-level experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
Experience with trust accounting is highly preferred (and offers higher pay)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage sensitive financial information with discretion
Familiarity with online banking systems and accounting platforms
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
