We are seeking a Treasury Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Roseville, CA with a banking and consumer lending organization. This role supports Treasury Management Services operations, commercial client onboarding, product training, and ongoing client support for treasury solutions such as ACH, remote deposit capture, positive pay, wires, lockbox, and cash management tools.

The Treasury Specialist will play a visible role in the sales and onboarding cycle, helping clients successfully adopt treasury products while supporting internal teams with training, reporting, reconciliations, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Treasury Management Services operations, including onboarding, implementation, training, documentation, and ongoing support for commercial clients.
- Partner with business development officers, branch teams, and internal departments to deliver responsive service and support throughout the sales and onboarding cycle.
- Assist clients with treasury products and services, including ACH, remote deposit capture, positive pay, wires, lockbox, smart safes, armored carrier deposits, and cash management platforms.
- Review client statements, proformas, tracking logs, reports, reconciliations, and client files to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance, and service quality.
- Provide client and internal training on treasury management products, procedures, platforms, and operational best practices.
- Support audit preparation, procedure writing, process improvement projects, vendor fee processing, reporting, and timely management of treasury email and voicemail communications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Roseville, CA.
- Minimum of 10 CRA volunteer hours per year, typically scheduled during business hours. Volunteer time is compensable and mileage is reimbursed.
- Lead onboarding and training for new and existing commercial treasury management clients.
- Support operational processing for ACH, remote deposit capture, positive pay, wires, reconciliations, exceptions, deposits, and related treasury services.
- Partner with business development officers and front line staff on client calls, proformas, service recommendations, and implementation support.
- Maintain accurate client files, tracking logs, reports, checklists, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Treasury Management Services or banking operations, with a focus on treasury management product processing and operations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing training, mentoring, or guidance within treasury management operations.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of treasury services, including RDC, ACH, positive pay, lockbox, wires, and cash management tools.
- Ability to provide technical support to clients and internal users across treasury platforms and related banking systems.
- Strong understanding of banking policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, branch staff, business development officers, and internal partners.
- Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive client relationships and support client retention.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, support process improvements, take detailed notes, manage multiple priorities, and deliver timely follow-up.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACH Accredited Professional certification, or ability to obtain no later than the end of the first year of employment.
- Experience with Weiland, Fiserv, and Q2.
- Experience with Fiserv DNA, Q2 Console, ETMS, Centrix PIQs, Weiland, or similar treasury and banking platforms.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-entity commercial clients.
- Experience with smart safe, armored carrier, CRM BI reporting, audit preparation, and treasury management procedure documentation.
