About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Transportation Coordinator to manage scheduling, routing, and coordination of transportation operations. This role ensures efficient movement of goods while maintaining strong communication with drivers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate transportation routes and deliveries
Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers
Track shipments and resolve delays or issues
Maintain transportation records and compliance documentation
Optimize routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Support logistics and warehouse teams as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) preferred
