Position Overview:
The Transportation Admin/CSR is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the transportation department by providing administrative assistance and delivering exceptional customer service. This role acts as a liaison between customers, drivers, and management to ensure timely and accurate transportation services, efficient scheduling, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule transportation services for customers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and requests.

Maintain accurate records of transportation orders, driver assignments, and service logs.

Process transportation requests, verify shipment details, and confirm availability with drivers.

Assist with route planning and dispatch support to optimize efficiency.

Handle billing, invoicing, and documentation related to transportation services.

Communicate effectively with drivers to relay schedules, changes, and updates.

Track shipments and provide status updates to customers as needed.

Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and escalate when necessary.

Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Support other administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.

Collaborate with other departments to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or customer service roles preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with computer software, including MS Office and transportation management systems (TMS).

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
