Training Associate (L&D Specialist)- Pharma/Manufacturing
Location: Concord, NC 28027- Hybrid
Pay rate: $38.34/hr
Schedule: M-F- 8 to 5pm
Duration: 6 month assignment

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Major American pharmaceutical company that researches, develops, and manufactures prescription medications, primarily focusing on diabetes, obesity, immunology, oncology, and neuroscience.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Training Associate will support the Learning & Development (L&D) function for the Concord, NC manufacturing site. This contractor will work closely with the Concord L&D Team to ensure seamless execution of training processes, support global initiatives, and maintain uninterrupted training support for ongoing manufacturing activities.

The role centers on training documentation management, LMS reporting, curricula updates, and coordination of instructor-led training.

This position is hybrid and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple training-related workstreams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Matrix & Documentation Management
• Assist in managing 36 functional area training matrices, including reviews, updates, and approvals in QDocs.
• Support course and curricula periodic reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support and revise training materials (OJTs, instructor-led training content, job aids, etc.).
• Run the assignment profile streamlining project and various curriculum architecture mapping initiatives.
LMS & Reporting Support
• Generate and analyze LMS reports to support site quality investigations and other report requests.
• Organize data and produce process metrics for training and quality initiatives.
• Implement training upgrades based on survey feedback and data analysis.
ServiceNow Training Support
• Assist with ServiceNow requests including:
- Creation, management, and cancellation of instructor-led classes
- Course deactivation/retirement
- Due date extension projects and trending
- Turning on contractor learning plans
- Assignment/unassignment of curricula
Instructor-Led Training Coordination
• Schedule instructor-led classes in collaboration with Conduent.
• Manage rosters, visitor registration, room reservations, and communication.
• Create, distribute, and manage post-training surveys.
• Work with teams to update training based on survey outcomes.
Email & Site Support
• Monitor and manage requests received via the L&D team email mailbox, routing or managing locally as needed.
• Provide continuous support to site milestones, global initiatives, and manufacturing training needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Coordination, Quality Systems, or a related field.
• Experience supporting global training initiatives and implementations, such as:
- QMS i3 standardization
- ObserveIQ Digital OJT
- Learning Plan streamlining
- Curricula architecture development
• Ability to support ongoing manufacturing site initiatives with minimal disruption.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with LMS systems, QMS tools, and training platforms preferred.
