A growing organization in the medical devices and supplies industry is seeking a Total Rewards/HR Benefits Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Valencia, CA. This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven HR professional with strong experience in compensation, employee benefits, wellness, recognition, HR analytics, and compliance.
The Total Rewards/HR Benefits Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and help shape programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy aligned with business goals, talent needs, and organizational growth.
- Lead compensation programs, including salary structures, job evaluations, market pricing, incentive planning, compensation modeling, and pay equity initiatives.
- Oversee employee benefits, retirement, wellness, leave, recognition programs, vendor management, annual renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
- Build and deliver Total Rewards analytics, workforce metrics, compensation reporting, executive dashboards, and data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation, benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, wage and hour requirements, and pay practices.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to improve systems, processes, reporting, and employee experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Valencia, CA.
- Lead Total Rewards strategy, compensation programs, benefits administration, and HR analytics initiatives.
- Manage annual renewals, open enrollment, vendor relationships, employee communications, and compliance activities.
- Develop compensation reporting, workforce metrics, executive dashboards, and data-based recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leaders.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant Human Resources, Total Rewards, compensation, or benefits management experience.
- Strong knowledge of compensation planning, salary structures, job evaluation, market pricing, incentive programs, and pay equity practices.
- Experience managing employee benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, leave programs, recognition programs, and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, wage and hour requirements, benefits regulations, leave laws, and pay practices.
- Proficiency in HR analytics, reporting, workforce metrics, compensation modeling, and executive-level data presentation.
- Strong business partnership skills with the ability to advise leaders, influence decisions, and support organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy, service, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the medical devices, medical supplies, manufacturing, or regulated industry environment.
- Experience supporting Total Rewards programs in a growing organization.
- HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, or compensation survey experience.
- Familiarity with executive dashboards, workforce planning metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
