Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Processor to support residential real estate title review, documentation, and closing preparation for home transactions in the Orlando, FL area. This temporary opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement after onsite training, making it a strong fit for an experienced residential title professional who is organized, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple files in a deadline-driven environment.
The Title Processor will play an important role in helping ensure successful home closings by ordering and reviewing title searches, identifying title defects, preparing title commitments, and coordinating required documentation with lenders, agents, and other transaction partners. This role offers the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable team, receive structured in-office training, and contribute to a professional environment that values accuracy, communication, teamwork, and reliable follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Order, review, and process title searches according to company standards and local title examining procedures.
- Prepare, issue, and update title commitments while ensuring accuracy of file documentation and lender requests.
- Review title documentation for ownership, legal descriptions, liens, judgments, easements, encumbrances, and other title-related matters.
- Order and track surveys, estoppels, prior policies, and other closing-related documentation needed to support residential transactions.
- Identify title issues and coordinate required actions to help clear defects prior to closing.
- Maintain organized files, reports, and records while communicating professionally with lenders, agents, and external partners.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Employment Type: Temporary, with potential for temp-to-perm based on performance.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, primarily remote after approximately 1 to 2 weeks of required onsite training, with occasional in-office visits.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Order, examine, and process residential title searches and related closing documentation.
- Issue title commitments and maintain accurate lender title requests, updates, and revisions.
- Review legal documents and identify liens, judgments, easements, encumbrances, and other title concerns.
- Coordinate surveys, estoppels, prior policy requests, and title policy auditing activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of residential title processing experience required.
- Homebuilding title processing experience required.
- Timeshare-only title experience will not be considered.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience reviewing legal documents such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat maps, contracts, and agreements.
- Strong reading comprehension, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professional communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using RamQuest or similar title processing software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies in title documentation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced residential real estate, homebuilding, title, or closing environment.
