Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Processor to prepare, review, and manage real estate title documentation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely real estate closings by working closely with lenders, agents, attorneys, buyers, and sellers.
The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven environment, understands title insurance processes, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Examine and verify title documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, tax records, and legal descriptions
Prepare title commitments and related documentation in compliance with underwriting standards
Identify and resolve title issues such as outstanding liens, discrepancies, or missing information
Coordinate with lenders, agents, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to gather required documentation
Order and track payoffs, surveys, HOA estoppels, and tax certificates
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate regulations
Maintain organized and accurate transaction files within internal systems
Assist with closing package preparation and issuance of final title policies
Provide timely updates and professional customer service to all parties involved
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in title processing, escrow, or real estate transactions preferred
Strong understanding of title documents, title insurance, and real estate terminology
Experience with title production software such as ResWare, RamQuest, or SoftPro is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple files under tight deadlines
Strong communication and customer service abilities
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy
