Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in real estate or title processing? We are seeking a Title Processor to join our growing team in East Orlando! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys coordinating all the moving pieces that lead to a successful closing.
About the Role
The Title Processor is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing real estate title documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal regulations. You will play a key role in supporting smooth and timely closings by working closely with lenders, agents, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to resolve title issues and facilitate the issuance of title insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities
Examine and verify title documents including deeds, mortgages, liens, tax records, and legal descriptions
Prepare title commitments and related documentation in accordance with company and underwriting standards
Identify and resolve title issues such as clouds on title, outstanding liens, discrepancies, and missing information
Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and attorneys to gather required documents
Order and track payoffs, surveys, HOA estoppels, tax certificates, and other items needed for closing
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing real estate transactions
Maintain accurate and organized transaction files within company systems
Assist with preparing closing packages and final title policies
Provide excellent customer service by keeping all parties informed of file status and requirements
Qualifications
Experience in title processing, escrow, real estate, or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge of title documents, title insurance, and real estate terminology
Familiarity with title production software (ResWare, RamQuest, SoftPro) is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy
