We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Clerk with Notary Public certification to support our real estate transactions. The Title Clerk plays a key role in reviewing, preparing, and processing legal documents related to property titles and closings. This position ensures all title work is accurate, complete, and compliant with state and local regulations while delivering excellent service to clients, agents, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and process real estate title documents, including deeds, affidavits, lien releases, and closing disclosures
Conduct title searches and review title commitments to ensure clear ownership and identify any encumbrances or issues
Coordinate with title companies, escrow officers, attorneys, lenders, and agents to facilitate timely closings
Notarize real estate documents such as deeds, affidavits, and loan packages in compliance with state notary laws
Track title progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution and closing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all title and escrow files
Verify tax information, insurance coverage, and municipal assessments related to property titles
Ensure all documents are recorded properly with local and county offices after closing
Stay current on real estate title regulations, policies, and industry best practices
Provide administrative support to the closing and legal teams as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business, legal studies, or real estate preferred
1–2 years of experience in real estate title, escrow, or legal support
Current Notary Public commission
Familiarity with title software and real estate transaction platforms (e.g., Qualia, SoftPro, RamQuest)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
