Job Title: Title Assistant Level III
Department: Title Services
Reports To: Title Manager
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am- 4pm, or 9am – 6pm

Position Summary:

The Title Assistant Level III supports Title Examiners in producing accurate and timely title products. This role involves opening new orders, managing tax certificates, revising title products, and providing top-tier service to both internal and external clients. The position demands precision, reliability, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support Title Examiners in producing professional, accurate, and timely title insurance products, including Ownership & Encumbrance Reports (O&Es).
• Open and set up new title orders; request, track, and distribute tax certificates.
• Assist in the maintenance and revision of title products including document updates and customer follow-ups.
• Ensure deadlines are met or communicated promptly if extensions are needed.
• Respond to incoming calls, assisting clients directly or routing them to the appropriate team member.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining professionalism and attentiveness in all interactions.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle special key accounts and resolve client issues with management input.
• Conduct courthouse or property record searches as needed (valid driver’s license and insurance required).
• Support the main reception desk when needed.
• Train new or existing staff as assigned.
• Attend internal or external training sessions for continued development.
• Adhere to company policies and assist with additional duties or projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• 7 – 10+ years of experience in title services or a related client-focused industry.
• High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based applications and title software experience
