Wonderful career opportunity with a growing employer in the manufacturing/aerospace industry, seeking to hire an experienced Assembler (Tester). This is a newly created position due to continued growth. The schedule is a 4/10 alternative work week (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with every Friday off. Candidates must be able to commit to this schedule. Reliability and consistent attendance are key.
This role supports a specialized production cell focused on building and testing backup battery systems. The position requires prior testing experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. Assemblies include very small harnesses and electrical components, requiring strong attention to detail, precision, and comfort working with small parts using hand tools and exact measurements. Some soldering is involved (training available), and candidates should be open to learning or expanding this skill.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a dedicated production cell and can stay focused on the same product line for extended periods. This is not a high-variation role, so individuals who prefer consistency, repetition, and mastering a process will thrive here. Over time, there may be opportunities to cross-train into other areas.
Responsibilities include assembling and testing electronic components, following detailed work instructions and specifications, and ensuring all quality standards are met. Candidates should be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior experience in electronic assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with small components, harnesses, or battery assemblies is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow precise instructions are essential.
ITAR Requirements: Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise eligible to comply with ITAR regulations.
