Photonics Test Technician | $22–$25/hr DOE | Valencia, CA
AppleOne Ventura is hiring a Photonics Test Technician to support the testing, validation, and assembly of advanced photonic and photo sensing components. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity in Valencia, California, ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in semiconductor, electronics, or photonics testing environments.
As a Photonics Test Technician, you’ll work in a cleanroom setting to inspect, assemble, and test precision optical and electronic products.
Pay is $22-25/hr DOE
Must meet ITAR, 1st shift M-F 7:30am-4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test photonic devices and photo sensing systems
- Perform inspections using microscopes and precision tools
- Validate product performance against technical specifications
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in English
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Rotate between testing areas as needed based on product type
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in photonics, semiconductor, or electronics testing
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling delicate components
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and cleanroom protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with microscopes and small-scale inspection tools
