We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity supporting marine manufacturing, industrial, and mechanical equipment customers across Western Washington. This field sales role is ideal for a B2B sales professional who enjoys building a territory, developing long-term customer relationships, and winning new business through consultative selling.
This opportunity offers strong earning potential, uncapped commission, and the autonomy to manage an established market while identifying new growth opportunities. You will spend much of your time in the field meeting with customers, touring facilities, understanding operational needs, and recommending solutions that help keep critical equipment and operations running.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business throughout the assigned Western Washington territory through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio across marine manufacturing, shipyards, industrial facilities, manufacturing operations, and related markets.
- Conduct onsite customer visits and facility walk-throughs to assess equipment needs, operational challenges, and potential sales opportunities.
- Partner with maintenance leaders, engineers, operations teams, and technical decision-makers to recommend industrial and mechanical equipment solutions.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up with customers, and maintain ownership of the sales process from initial contact through close.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan focused on new account acquisition, customer retention, and profitable growth.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Base salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
- On-target earnings: $100,000 to $160,000+.
- Uncapped commission based on gross margin performance.
- Monthly vehicle allowance plus mileage reimbursement.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on new business growth and account expansion.
- Build relationships with customers in marine, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, and related business environments.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations, onsite assessments, and solution-based recommendations.
- Manage quotes, proposals, follow-up, and customer communication throughout the sales cycle.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales, field sales, or territory sales experience.
- Demonstrated success prospecting, developing new accounts, and growing existing customer relationships.
- Strong hunter and farmer sales approach with the ability to build a territory for long-term success.
- Technical aptitude with an interest in learning mechanical, industrial, and equipment-based solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business owners, maintenance leaders, engineers, operations teams, and technical decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, coachable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally throughout the assigned Western Washington territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into marine, maritime, shipyard, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or related environments.
- Direct marine industry experience.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, mechanical systems, maintenance operations, or technical service solutions.
- Experience building a territory through both new account acquisition and long-term customer relationship management.
