Job Title: Temporary Accountant (100% Onsite – Washington Residents Only)
Location: Tukwila, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary through February 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $25.91 – $32.33 per hour, DOE
Work Requirement: 100% onsite – candidates must be Washington State residents

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to provide accounting and administrative support in a professional, collaborative office environment. This onsite role is ideal for Washington-based candidates with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance who thrive on accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, payroll, reimbursements, and purchase orders

Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Enter, verify, and reconcile data in the accounting system

Support larger accounting projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned

Maintain accurate records, files, and reports according to established procedures

Respond professionally to internal staff and inquiries

Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial processing

Contribute to a collaborative environment that values integrity and precision

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience (or equivalent education/experience)

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks experience preferred

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently in a 100% onsite office environment

Must be a current Washington State resident and authorized to work in the U.S.
