SIP Trunk Coordinator (Junior–Mid Level) 100% Remote-Must sit in Texas or Oklahoma
We’re seeking a SIP Trunk Coordinator with 2–5 years of experience to support SIP trunk services across on-prem and hosted voice platforms. This role is well-suited for someone early to mid-career in voice/telecom who enjoys coordination, troubleshooting, and working closely with carriers, vendors, and internal IT teams.
Salary range is between $45-50K
What You’ll Do
Coordinate provisioning, activation, porting, and decommissioning of SIP trunk services
Serve as a liaison between telecom carriers, hosted voice providers, vendors, and internal IT teams
Support and assist with SIP trunk configuration across on-prem PBX and hosted/UC platforms
Monitor call quality, trunk utilization, and service availability
Support voice-related projects including migrations, upgrades, carrier transitions, and new site deployments
Perform testing and validation after configuration changes or upgrades
Help maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard procedures
What You Bring
2–5 years of experience in SIP trunking, VoIP, or enterprise voice support
Steady work history demonstrating the ability to support systems over time
Working knowledge of SIP, RTP, codecs, call routing, QoS, latency, jitter, and packet loss
Exposure to on-prem PBX platforms such as ESI, Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, NEC, Asterisk, FreePBX, or similar
Experience working with telecom carriers and service providers
Familiarity with CDRs, SIP logs, or basic SIP tracing (Wireshark a plus)
Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills
Nice to Have
Experience with PBX upgrades, carrier migrations, or multi-site environments
Interest in growing into deeper voice, UC, or telecom engineering responsibilities
